Rogue King - Salmon Trips on the Oregon coastFall King Salmon

Famous Fall Chinook salmon run on the rivers of Southern Oregon including the wild and scenic rivers like the Coquille River, Umpqua River, and the Coos Bay Estuary; all featuring fabulous runs of Fall Kings.

Coquille River Fall King Salmon – August thru October

The Coquille is located at Bandon Oregon. Our King Salmon fishing on the scenic Coquille River is done on the lower part of the river and in the tidal area. This Salmon fishery is for the most part un-crowded which takes the pressure off of the salmon enticing more bites. All King Salmon fishing is done by trolling cut plug herring and flashers. In mid September the Fall Coho Salmon start their runs, they are very aggressive and love to fight. Limit is 2 adult salmon per day per angler, (1) may be a Coho Salmon or both can be King Salmon.

Coos Bay Fall Salmon Fishing – August – October

The Coos River Fall Chinook Salmon Fishery is located at Coos Bay on a very large estuary. This salmon fishery is supported by what is likely the largest hatchery program on the Oregon coast. There is a commercial airport North Bend so anglers can fly into the area and fish just a few yards from their hotel.
